  I happen to have 8 BMWs in my household and 2 of them required bodywork from Canterbury BMW Bodyshop in the past.
  
  Canterbury BMW did get the job done, but if another unfortunate circumstance comes where one of my cars needs bodywork, I might take it to elsewhere.
  
  === Pro ===
  + Gets the job done. (Not great though)
  + Has name value of "BMW" bodyshop
  
  === Con ===
  --- Not great in terms of bodywork
  (E90 3-Series required a passenger door replacement. Door-catch makes *clunk* noise every time you open, and the open/close action is not smooth)
  --- Poor communication skills for the reception personnel
  (I call and ask for status update, and Linda(?) responses in rather angry voice as if I have made a call that I shouldn't have. She doesn't sound like she enjoys working there)
  --- Takes long time
  (1 car took 3 months for repairs. They said it was difficult to find the part. And the other car took 3 weeks for minor damage, replacement of glass and 15cm scratch on panel)
  
  Canterbury BMW bodyshop management, I strongly feel that you should train your telephone personnel on how to answer calls, or at least hire someone who would enjoy working there.

  keep away from them , they will tell you your car will finish in 10 and then you will get it in 1 month
  they did painting job on my car and they damaged:
  the driver side window
  my center locking
  the job was terrible
  after i picked up my car i found out it's not locking i toke the car to BMW to find out the problem... they told me it need a part that cost 7870$ to get it from Germeny and to get it fixed will cost around 10,000$ !
  i call contacting them back many times and i told about the problem... they told me i was like that from before!!
  
  anyway after spending time and money and toke the car to many repairers,
  i fixed it my self and it was that they didn't connect the center locking back after when they finished spraying the Car! and the window i get it fixed and cost 892$
  that's my experience with them
  if you want to do business with them make sure you show them your car things are all working and make them sgin
